Tedworth Park Polo Club (TPPC) is a 5 star rated establishment according to the Animal Welfare Regulations 2018 

The Club offers lessons all year round.  We run lessons from Tuesday to Friday between April and September, and from Tuesday to Sunday in the winter months. We offer one- or two-hour lessons that are suitable for players of all abilities.  You can either book a lesson as an individual or, if you have a group of friends who would like to learn, then we do group discounts for a minimum of 4 people.  Whether you’re a competent player looking to sharpen up your skills, or a complete beginner who has never sat on a horse before, we have specialised coaches and patient horses that suit all needs and abilities.

We have a team of fantastic HPA-qualified coaches with years of experience.  Our beginners’ ponies are as safe as houses and will make the experience feel like a walk in the park (quite literally).  Lessons can be tailored to whatever you want to achieve – let us know your goals and aspirations, and our coaches will work with you to achieve them.  For those of you looking for a more intense course, we have 1- and 2-day courses available – check out the ‘Book a Course’ tab for more information.

TPPC being the home of military polo, we offer generous subsidies to all military players and their dependants, and to Armed Forces veterans.  We are also keen to support the next generation and offer generous discounts for children and students.

Regrettably, we do still have to levy fees for lessons if they are cancelled too late, due to the need to programme ponies and instructors’ time.  This is explained below:

Cancelling Lessons:

Cancellation 48 hours before the lesson – no charge

Cancellation less than 48 hours before the lesson – 100% of the charge

Cancelling Courses:

Cancellation 7 days prior – no charge

Cancellation at less than 7 days notice – 100% of the charge
