Grounds

Our club is located in the beautiful grounds of Tedworth House and provides a warm and welcoming environment.  Our two main tournament fields, Tattoo and Fisher have seen many years of great polo action.  We also play on two satellite grounds at Perham Down (just North East of Tidworth), and for our instructional chukkas, clinics and courses we have a stick and ball practice area in Tedworth Park.  In the winter, we are lucky enough to have the 40m x 80m outdoor, combi-surface “John Wright Polo Arena”, in which considerable amounts of winter polo are played and lessons conducted.  All-in-all we have a truly comprehensive set of polo facilities.

The clubhouse offers refreshments throughout the summer season and, for the beginner, we can help to kit you out too with a range of good value polo products from our shop.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ponies and Livery

We have pony stables and paddocks close to the grounds and arena, which means that ponies do not have to be transported prior to polo.  The exception to this is when polo is played at Perham Down, but this is only a 10 min drive from Tidworth.    We have extensive pony lines, which means that mounts can be changed speedily during match play and tournaments.

For beginners, equipment for your lessons and courses will be provided, to ensure that you get the most from your game.  Ponies to suit all ranges of ability are provided by our excellent affiliated pony provider, Polo Biz Ltd.

For more experienced players with their own ponies, DIY liveries can be provided, both in the summer and the winter.  The stables are modern and enclosed in a purpose-built polo yard with full essential facilities.  For livery details, please contact the office on info@tedworthparkpolo.com – we will be glad to discuss your requirements.

Our polo livery is great value; you can turn up to the pitch and hop on board ready to play with all your ponies immaculately turned out and ready for action.  The horses are loved and cared for by Polo Biz’s excellent team of grooms.
