TPPC Director – Colonel David Eadie CBE

David first played polo at Tedworth in 1985, under the eagle eye of John Wright, his then Commanding Officer. As he hadn’t previously ridden much, he was sent on a course with King’s Troop, Royal Artillery. Having learnt the basics, he then spent the next 3 years playing polo at Tedworth and in Sennelager, Germany, eventually reaching 0 goals and qualifying as a C Grade Umpire. In 2025, he approached the club with the intention of selling his polo boots, only to be persuaded back into the fold to umpire and play a few chukkas! Not long after that, he was persuaded to be become a Director of AFEC’s trading company and since then has been involved to varying degrees in the running of the Polo Club.
General Manager – Currently Vacant
Applications will be invited shortly
Assistant Club Manager – Helen Gredington
Helen came to polo through a recovery programme during her medical discharge from the Royal Air Force. She attended weekly training sessions
with the H4H (now SAFECT) group and completely caught the polo bug. Now a committed member of the club, she keeps her own polo pony at the club
and is actively involved both on and off the field. Helen joined the staff at Tedworth Park Polo Club in June 2025, and became the Assistant Manager in
March 2026.
Club Groundsman – Scott Williams

Scott was born and raised in the Mendips in Somerset, son of a farming family who specialise in both arable and dairy on a 1500 acre farm. He has a strong background in agriculture and the machinery associated with it. He came to Tedworth at the beginning of Winter 2025, seeking to expand his knowledge of the equine community and has since become the very hard-working groundsman for TPPC.
Rundle Cup Organiser – Lolly Stanhope-White
Lolly was involved in the Club until 2025, but she now works for the club on a freelance basis planning the Rundle Cup; something she has been doing successfully for many years. She actually works full time as an Events Coordinator, but she is somehow managing to find time to organise the Rundle Cup again this year. We are hugely indebted to her and hope that this may not be the last year we are able to call upon her expertise! Please contact her through events@tedworthparkpolo.com
Polo Advisor – Brigadier Justin Stanhope-White

For those of you who thought that Justin had graciously slid into retirement from Polo, it just isn’t true! He is very kindly providing his wealth of knowledge and experience to advise the Tedworth Equestrian Trading Directors on all things polo, for which we are immensely grateful. Justin was Director of Polo from Jan 2020 until May 2025, having been involved with the Club for over 30 years as an Army Polo player and latterly as Chairman of the Army Polo Association. He remains Vice Chairman of the HPA Development Committee and National Chairman of Pony Club Polo. When not providing us with advice, he is working hard on his farm in Somerset.
